Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who walk the Path of the Draconblood imbue their Rage with the ferocity of dragons, altering their body and unleashing the primal and elemental power sealed in the heart of their fury.

Few creatures can match the sheer dominance and might of a dragon, and with your spirit inexorably intertwined with these powerful beasts, you have the power to destroy, protect, or rule; the world is your oyster with the wrath of the dragons coursing through your veins.

Level 3: Dragonsoul

The very essence of the dragon resides within your being. You know Draconic.

When you activate your Rage, choose one of the following damage types from the Dragonsoul Table, which manifests as scales covering your exposed skin and veins of colour of the associated dragons coursing through your form.

Dragonsoul Table
Damage Type Associated Dragons
Acid Black, Copper
Cold Silver, White
Fire Brass, Red, Gold
Lightning Blue, Bronze
Poison Green

While your Rage is active, you have Resistance to the chosen type.

Saving Throws. If a feature in this subclass requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength modifier and Proficiency Bonus.

Level 3: Ferocious Manifestation

While your Rage is active, your body takes on the characteristics of a dragon. Talons extend from your hands and feet, your teeth grow into sharp fangs, and a tail emerges from your form. These features enhance your Unarmed Strikes as follows:

Claws. You can use your claws to make Unarmed Strikes. On a hit, they deal Slashing damage equal to 1d6 plus your Strength modifier. Your claws have the [property]Light[/property] property and the Nick mastery.

Bite. You can use your fangs to make Unarmed Strikes. On a hit, they deal Piercing damage equal to 1d10 plus your Strength modifier. Your bite has the Sap mastery.

Tail. You can use your tail to make Unarmed Strikes. On a hit, it deals Bludgeoning damage equal to 1d10 plus your Strength modifier. Your tail has the Topple mastery.

Additionally, while your Rage is active, your Unarmed Strikes deal an extra 1d4 damage of the type you chose from the Dragonsoul Table. This damage increases when you reach Barbarian levels 9 (1d6), 13 (1d8), and 17 (1d10).

Level 6: Wyrm's Breath

Once per active Rage, you can take a Magic action and unleash a blast of draconic magic in a 30-foot Cone originating from you.

Roll a number of d6s equal to your Strength modifier (minimum of 1). Each creature in the Cone makes a Dexterity saving throw, taking damage equal to the total rolled on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The damage type is the same as the type you chose from the Dragonsoul Table.

You can use your Reckless Attack and forgo the Advantage to instead give creatures Disadvantage on their saving throws against this feature.

The area of the Cone increases when you reach Barbarian levels 13 (60-foot Cone) and 17 (90-foot Cone).

Level 10: Primeval Might

When you activate your Rage, you can unleash a devastating roar. Creatures of your choice that can hear you within 60 feet of yourself must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature has the Frightened condition for 1 minute. At the end of each of its turns, a Frightened creature repeats the save, ending the condition on itself on a success.

While your Rage is active, leathery wings sprout from your back, giving you a Fly Speed equal to your Speed.

Level 14: Draconian Apotheon

When you activate your Rage, you can allow the transformation to overcome you, assuming the form of a creature of pure draconic might. This form lasts for 1 minute or until you drop to 0 Hit Points. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest. While in this form, you gain the benefits below.

Draconic Majesty. Your reach increases by 5 feet, and if you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If there isn't enough room for you to increase your size, your size doesn't change.

Dragon Hide. You have Immunity to the type you chose from the Dragonsoul Table. Additionally, you add your Strength modifier to your Armour Class (minimum of +1).

Dragonsight. You have Blindsight with a range of 60 feet.

Legendary Defiance. Once when you fail a saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead.
