Trained in the deadly arts of the League of Assassins and refined by temporal technology, Shadow Canaries blend precision, stealth, and temporal displacement. They strike unseen, vanish into darkness, and disrupt the flow of time around their foes. These warriors are shadows made flesh—deadly echoes of what was, and what must be.

Level 3: Canary's Cloak

At 3rd level, you can channel your ki to harness time-laced shadow magic. You can spend 2 ki points to cast one of the following spells without material components:

• Temporal Flicker (Darkness) – Twist time to cloud an area in warped shadows.

• Sharpened Perception (Darkvision) – Your awareness pierces temporal dimness.

• Ghost Step (Pass Without Trace) – You and your allies step between moments, leaving no trace.

• Silent Beat (Silence) – Cancel vibrations in a bubble of frozen time.

Level 6: Blink Step

Starting at 6th level, while you are in dim light or darkness, you can use a bonus action to teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.

After teleporting, you have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.

Level 11: Chrono Mirage

At 11th level, you can slip partially out of time, creating a momentary echo that distorts your position.

While you are in dim light or darkness, you can use your action to become a blurry mirage until the end of your next turn.

• You gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws.

• Attacks against you have disadvantage.

Level 17: Canary Echo

At 17th level, you master the echoing power of your voice across time.

As an action, you can unleash a sonic time-scream in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, they take 6d10 thunder damage, are deafened for 1 minute, and pushed 10 feet away. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not pushed or deafened.

You may use this feature once per long rest. You may also spend 5 ki points to use it again.
