Base Class: Paladin
“From my ashes, a dawn. From my end, a beginning.”
Paladins who swear the Oath of the Celestial Phoenix bind their souls to the endless cycle of destruction and renewal written across the stars. Like the great cosmic phoenix — a stellar flame that dies in glorious collapse only to rise again brighter than before — these warriors dedicate themselves to the protection of others through selfless sacrifice. They do not fear their own fall, for they know that in death they ignite new hope.
Wherever darkness spreads and hope wanes, a Celestial Phoenix rises to stand defiant, their light a beacon in the void. Their strength is not hoarded, but given freely; their destiny is to burn so that others may be warmed, to fall so that others may soar.
TENETS
My Light For Theirs
My strength, my flame, my life itself — I give all freely so others may endure. What is my light, if not a gift to the world?
From Ashes, Dawn
I do not fear destruction, for in my fall I sow the seeds of new hope. Every end is but the first breath of a greater beginning.
Kindness is My Flame
As the stars warm the coldest night, so too will I meet the world with compassion. Let my words and deeds be a comfort to the weary and a balm for the broken.
I Will Face the Unfathomable
Against the might of gods or the endless night, I will not falter. Though the foe is beyond reckoning, I will burn bright in defiance, so others may stand after me.
