Path of the Star-Forged

“The comet did not fall. It struck—because it was aimed.”

While others are born of blood, flame, or ancestral fury, your rage is written in the stars. You are forged from celestial iron and comet-fire—unbreakable, unknowable, and sent for a purpose even you do not fully understand. When your rage burns, gravity bends and radiant echoes ripple through the battlefield.

☄️ Level 3: Celestial Impact

When you choose this path, you become a living meteorite of force.

  • Impact Burst: When you enter a rage, you can choose to slam the ground (no action required). Each creature within 5 feet of you must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency + Strength mod) or be knocked prone and take force damage equal to your Rage Damage bonus.

  • Gravity-Forged: You gain resistance to force damage while raging. If you already have resistance to bludgeoning, you now also reduce fall damage by an additional 5 x your proficiency bonus.

🌠 Level 6: Star-Anchor

Your presence becomes a gravitational anchor on the battlefield.

  • You cannot be pushed, pulled, or knocked prone while raging unless the source is of a higher CR than your current level.

  • Allies within 10 feet of you gain advantage on saving throws against forced movement effects (like thunderwave or telekinesis).

  • Once per long rest, when reduced to 0 HP while raging, you may instead drop to 1 HP and explode with stellar backlash. All creatures within 10 feet take force damage equal to 2d6 + your barbarian level.

✨ Level 10: Celestial Echo

You begin to warp space when you move.

  • While raging, once per turn when you move 10 feet or more, you can leave behind a star echo—a faint shimmer of your position. You gain half cover until the start of your next turn.

  • Once per long rest, you can use your reaction when targeted by a spell or ranged attack to blink 10 feet in any direction, potentially avoiding the effect.

🔥 Level 14: Cometfall

You are the hammer of heaven, the reason stars fall.

  • When you rage, you may choose to jump 30 feet as part of your bonus action, landing with explosive force.

  • Once per rage, you can perform a Meteor Crash:

    • Leap up to 30 feet in a straight line and land in an unoccupied space within range.

    • Each creature within 10 feet must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency + Strength mod) or take 6d10 force damage and fall prone. Half damage on a success.

    • This attack counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance.
