Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the Path of the Living Bulwark are not known for agility, speed, or clever footwork.

They are known for surviving what should kill them. Their bodies are walls of blood and fury, their minds forged to endure through pain, and their rage burns low and heavy -- not fast and bright. When others fall, the Bulwark remains.

Where other warriors may charge into the fray, the Living Bulwark digs in, takes the blows, and then returns them with unstoppable, punishing force

Level 3: Standfast

Your fury lashes out at those who dare strike you.

While raging, when a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. You can use this feature once per turn while raging.

While raging, you have resistance to force damage.

You have advantage on death saving throws.

Level 3: Iron Rejection

While raging, if a spell or magical effect would restore hit points to you, you can choose to ignore the healing and regain no hit points from that effect. You must declare this choice as the effect takes hold. This does not prevent temporary hit points or other beneficial effects.

Level 6: Foundation of Flesh

The more damage you take, the more brutal your rage becomes.

While you are below half your maximum hit points, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19-20.

While you are below one-quarter of your maximum hit points, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20, and your Rage Damage bonus is doubled

While raging and below half HP, whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you regain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). This effect can trigger multiple times per turn.

Wounded Defense: While raging and below half HP, you gain a +1 bonus to AC. This increases to +2 ACwhile you are below one-quarter of your maximum hit points.

Level 10: Mark of the Hammer

Your rage marks your enemies for retribution.

While raging, once per turn when a creature within 30 feet of you deals damage to you, you may immediately declare that you are marking that creature for retaliation.

The next time you hit the marked creature with a melee weapon attack, it takes bonus force damage equal to the damage it dealt to you.

You can use this feature twice per short rest.

Note: You must declare the mark as soon as the creature deals damage to you. If you do not, the opportunity is lost.

Level 14: Heart of the Wall

Even at the brink of death, your rage erupts in a final act of brutal defiance.

When you are raging and reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you may choose to activate this feature.

You immediately make one melee weapon attack against each creature of your choice within 5 feet.

You gain temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier.

These temporary hit points last for 1 minute or until depleted. If you are reduced to 0 hit points again while they remain, you fall unconscious as normal.

You can use this feature once per long rest.
