The first crystal knights were created by a fey queen who needed the perfect guards for any attack against her spot on the throne. These were emerald, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, & pearl. Her closest knights were the emerald, ruby, & sapphire crystal knights. She later ended up falling in love with the emerald crystal knight. Eventually the queen died & the crystal knights’ powers were lost in time, but now their power is in your hands.

Level 3: Elemental Gem

Choose a gem; Acid=Emerald, Fire=Ruby, Lightning=Sapphire, Poison=Amethyst, Psychic=Pearl, Thunder=Topaz, & Cold=Opal. Gain resistance to the gem’s elemental type. As a bonus action, convert your weapon’s damage type to your gem’s elemental type. After the 2nd attack made with the weapon that has the gem's damage type, the effect shatters dealing 1d6 piercing damage to the target that was hit with the 2nd attack. This increases to a d8 at 7th level, a d10 at 10th level, a d12 at 15th level, & 2d10 at 18th level.

Level 10: Glittering Shine

As a reaction, if you're hit, deal 4d10 your gem's elemental type to the target. The damage dice increases to 6d10 at 15th level & increases to 8d10 at 18th level.

Level 7: Crystal Coating

Gain proficiency & expertise in persuasion. Gain +4 AC from the crystal coating on your armor, gain resistance to slashing & piercing damage, but bludgeoning damage removes the previous effects of this feature until you take 10 minutes to reapply the coating. When the crystal coating is shattered by bludgeoning damage, creatures within a 5ft radius takes 2d10 piercing damage, this damage changes to your gem's damage type at 10th level, the damage dice increases to 2d12 at 15th level, & increases to 4d10 at 18th level.

Level 15: Pearlescent Persistence

Gain immunity to your gem’s elemental type.

Level 18: Brilliant Absorption

If you are attacked by the same elemental type as your gem, instead of taking damage heal the damage you would take & any extra healing would become Temp HP.
