Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of this college infuse their performances with ancient curses and dark omens, twisting fate through malevolent magic. Feared on the battlefield, they sap luck and strength from foes while bolstering allies with their cunning manipulations.

Level 3: Hexing Performance

When you use Bardic Inspiration, you may give the die to an enemy instead of an ally. This is a Hex Die, and the target is cursed for 10 minutes or until remove curse is cast on them.

You can use your reaction to activate the Hex Die in one of the following ways:

  • Curse of Weak Will: When the cursed creature makes a Wisdom saving throw, subtract the Hex Die from the roll.
  • Hex of Lethargy: At the start of the cursed creature’s turn, reduce its speed by 5 × the Hex Die roll until the end of its turn. If this reduces its speed to 0, it falls prone.
  • Sapping Curse: When the cursed creature hits with an attack, reduce the damage by the Hex Die roll. The target hit by the attack regains hit points equal to the amount reduced.

Level 6: Luck Killer

When a creature with a Hex Die gains advantage, you can use your reaction to transfer that advantage to another creature within 60 feet that you can see.

Alternatively, when an ally within 60 feet gains disadvantage and an enemy has a Hex Die, you can transfer the disadvantage to that enemy instead.

Additionally, when you give a Hex Die to an enemy, you can grant a Bardic Inspiration die to an ally.

Level 14: Spreading Curse

When you give a creature a Hex Die, you can also curse one additional creature within 30 feet of the original target. They also receive a Hex Die.

If a creature with an unused Hex Die dies, the die transfers to two other enemies within 30 feet.
