Base Class: Bard
In a world ruled by fate and risk, bards of the College of Fortune wager their lives on daring gambits. With a gambler’s charm and deadly precision, they blur the line between luck and inevitability—turning critical moments into crushing victories.
Level 3: Lucky 20
You gain proficiency with martial weapons and firearms.
In addition, your critical hit range improves as you gain bard levels:
- Level 3: Critical hits on a 19–20.
- Level 9: Critical hits on an 18–20.
- Level 18: Critical hits on a 17–20.
Level 3: 777
When your Bardic Inspiration die causes an attack roll total to equal exactly 20, the attack counts as a critical hit.
Level 6: Karmic Extra Attack
You can attack twice when you take the Attack action.
In addition:
- When you score a critical hit or witness one within 60 feet, you can use your reaction to grant yourself and one ally a Bardic Inspiration die.
- Once per round, when you score a critical hit, you can immediately make one additional weapon attack.
Level 14: Jackpot!
Once per round when you hit with a weapon attack, you can choose to turn the hit into a critical hit. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Additionally, if a creature rolls a natural 1 on a saving throw against your damaging spell, it takes double the rolled damage.
