Bards of this college wield words as weapons—rallying allies, unmasking lies, and turning battlefields with commanding rhetoric. Masters of speech and presence, they can sway crowds, silence foes, and bend outcomes with the sheer force of voice. Whether in war councils or royal courts, their words shape destiny.

Level 3: Level 3: Skilled Words

When you cast a spell on an ally who currently holds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice, that ally gains resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage until the start of their next turn.

Level 3: Level 3: Well-Versed

You gain proficiency in Persuasion or Intimidation and learn one common language of your choice. You also learn the thaumaturgy cantrip, which doesn’t count against your known cantrips.

Level 6: Level 6: Words of Denial

Your voice carries irresistible authority. When a creature within 30 feet attempts to take an action, bonus action, or reaction, you can use your reaction to speak a word of denial. That creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or lose that intended action.

If the action has multiple uses, the creature may use a different option instead.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Level 14: Level 14: Irrefutable Command

As an action, you deliver powerful commands to up to five creatures of your choice within 30 feet that can hear you. You can issue a different command to each. Each target must succeed on a saving throw associated with the chosen command or suffer its effect until the start of your next turn:

• Cease (Wisdom Save): The target can’t take bonus actions or reactions.
• Advance (Strength Save): The target must use its reaction to move up to its speed toward a point you choose, avoiding obvious hazards.
• Kneel (Charisma Save): The target falls prone.

You can use this feature once per long rest.
