Base Class: Warlock
The Grand Biblioplex is far more than a mere collection of tomes. Scholars believe it to be a living entity—an embodiment of the delicate balance between knowledge and the unfathomable. At first glance, it appears as an opulent study hall: towering shelves, ornate archways, and polished marble floors. Yet these corridors are ever-shifting; what was once a well-traveled aisle can transform into a sealed vault, and a locked room may unexpectedly reveal its hidden tomes when the library deems you worthy. Within its twisting pathways, space and time seem to distort, turning each quest for information into a pilgrimage through a labyrinth of possibilities.
This sentient vault of lore bestows its secrets on those who pledge themselves to its preservation, granting them powers drawn from its boundless repository of arcane wisdom. Known as Biblioplex Warlocks, these individuals hold a sacred responsibility to protect the library’s mysteries. In return, the living archives grant them the ability to decipher hidden truths, manipulate knowledge itself, and safeguard the sanctity of the written word. For those chosen by the Biblioplex, every page turned and rune deciphered becomes a testament to the deep, symbiotic bond between warlock and library.
Level 3: Library Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Library Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Comprehend Languages, Identify, Silence, Detect Thoughts, |
| 5 | Nondetection, Sending |
| 7 | Divination, Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum |
| 9 | Legend Lore, Scrying |
Level 3: Borrow Book
In exchange for your servitude, The Biblioplex grants you direct access to its ever-shifting stacks. At the end of a long rest, you can perform a 10-minute esoteric rite, causing a single tome to materialize before you. Any previously borrowed tome immediately vanishes, returning to the library. Choose one of the following options for your borrowed book:
Book of Knowledge. When you conjure this tome, choose two skills from Arcana, History, Nature, or Religion. While the book is on your person, you add your Charisma modifier to any checks you make with the chosen skills (in addition to the ability modifier normally used for those checks).
Book of Magic. When you conjure this tome, choose two cantrips from any class’s spell list. While the book is on your person, you know these cantrips, and they are considered Warlock cantrips for you. They do not count against your total number of cantrips known.
Book of Tongues. When you conjure this tome, choose three Languages. While the book is on your person, you can speak, read, and understand the chosen languages. Additionally, you learn the Comprehend Languages spell and can cast it as an Action without expending a spell slot.
Book of War. When you conjure this tome, choose two different martial weapons. While the book is on your person, you have proficiency with both chosen weapons, as well as with medium armor and shields.
Book of Elements
When you borrow this tome, choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage. While the book is on your person, your warlock spells and cantrips ignore resistance to that chosen damage type.

It does not count against your total spells known. You can cast it once at its lowest level without expending a spell slot, and once you do, you cannot cast it again in this way until you finish a long rest.

Level 6: Scholar’s Will
Your bond with the Biblioplex instills steadfast mental fortitude drawn from the library’s countless chronicles. Whenever an effect would force you to make an Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw, you can choose to make a Charisma saving throw instead. If the effect deals damage, on a successful save you take no damage, and on a failed save you take only half the damage. You may use this feature a number of times per Long Rest equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Level 10: Fervent Reader
As your relationship with the Bibloplex grows, it grants you additional access to its content. You can borrow one additional book when you perform the ceremony at the end of a long rest. You can select the same book twice. If you already have borrowed two books and borrow a third one, you choose which of the previous two are returned to the Library. Additionally, you may now select from the following new book options:
Book of Revelations. When you borrow this tome, choose one 1st-level spell from any class’s spell list. While you have this book on your person, you know that spell, and it counts as a warlock spell for you. It does not count against your total spells known. Level 14: All Is Revealed
The Biblioplex grants you an arcane secret. When you finish a long rest, you can choose a different Warlock spell to replace one of your mystic arcanum. The spell must be of the same spell level as the arcanum you replace.
