Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Riftstalkers are rogues who have learned to manipulate the unseen seams of reality. Through obscure arcane training, forbidden relics, or natural attunement to planar magic, they slip through micro-rifts to strike and vanish in the blink of an eye.

Sky pirates whisper of Riftstalkers appearing out of thin air to slit throats and steal secrets before fading into the mists of the floating isles. Some serve as covert operatives for empires, while others walk as free agents, mastering dimensional techniques for their own mysterious purposes.

As a Riftstalker, your fighting style transcends mere agility. You bend the edge of reality to step between shadows, evade death, and disorient your foes with attacks that flicker between planes. Your presence is an omen of uncanny silence – where reality thins, Riftstalkers thrive.

Rift Step

As a bonus action, you can teleport up to 10 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Void Attunement

You gain proficiency in Arcana if you don’t already have it. Additionally, you can sense planar rifts and conjuration magic. You can cast detect magic without expending a spell slot or material components, but it only detects conjuration magic or planar portals. You can use this feature once, and you regain its use after a short or long rest.

When you use your Uncanny Dodge, you can immediately teleport up to half your speed to an unoccupied space you can see. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Phase Strike

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can attempt to phase them partially out of reality. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or become incorporeal until the start of their next turn. While incorporeal, they can’t make attacks or interact with physical objects, but they are immune to all damage except force damage. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Master of Rifts

Your mastery of dimensional rifts reaches its peak. Your Rift Step range increases to 30 feet, and when you use Rift Step, you also become invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack or cast a spell.
