Base Class: Bard
Nearly all gadabout are self educated oddballs who ignore conventional means of living. They often ignore advice from critics and desperate pleas to keep quiet as well. The vast majority of gadabouts eventually find themselves aware of their miserable shortcomings and return to common life after months or years of failure. Those who stick it to the man long enough find themselves of surprisingly great service to those around them without even realizing it. Few Gadabouts end up being some of the upmost requested and respected individuals by powerful nobles and adventuring groups.
Career Disoriented.
When you join the College of Gadabouts at 3rd level, you gain proficiency and expertise in performance skill checks. In addition, you may use a performance check in place of an acrobatics check when being grappled.
Cowardly Lamentation
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to distract, confuse, and otherwise annoy your enemies. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration and add one-half your charisma modifier rounded up to the AC of the target of the attack until the start of your next turn. This is not a magical effect.
Aggressive Social Butterfly
At 6th level, you learn to hold conversation in the middle of life or death circumstances. You can use a bonus action to make a charisma skill check. In addition, you are not limited to how many words you can say for that check.
Dauntless Glowup
Starting at 14th level, creatures provoke opportunity attacks from the target of their attack when you use Cowardly Lamentation on them and the attack is made with advantage. This special opportunity attack can be melee or ranged. In addition when you roll a 1 on a charisma check, you can replace the 1 with a 20.
