Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Circle of Emberveil druids are guardians of the primal flame, balancing its destructive and restorative powers. They protect lands where fire has a vital role—volcanic landscapes, scorched forests, and the ever-burning heart of nature. Druids of this circle wield fire with mastery, purging corruption and breathing new life into the world through the cycle of ash and flame.

Emberkin

At 3rd level, you gain resistance to fire damage. Additionally, whenever you deal fire damage to a creature, you can choose to ignite it with smoldering embers for 1 minute. The creature takes fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier at the start of its turn (minimum 1) until it or another creature uses an action to extinguish the flames. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses after a long rest.

Flame of Renewal

Beginning at 6th level, you gain the ability to channel fire’s restorative qualities. As an action, you can touch a creature and cause them to burst briefly into harmless flame. The target regains hit points equal to 1d8 + your Wisdom modifier and gains resistance to fire damage for 1 minute.

Alternatively, you can use this feature to end one condition affecting the target. You can remove one of the following conditions: blinded, charmed, frightened, poisoned, or paralyzed.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Pyre Warden

At 10th level, you gain immunity to fire damage. Additionally, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can ignore resistance to fire damage, and creatures with immunity to fire damage take half damage from your fire spells.

Furthermore, when you take damage from a creature within 60 feet of you that you can see, you can use your reaction to ignite a barrier of flame around yourself. This barrier provides you with temporary hit points equal to your Druid level, and deals fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier to any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of you. This barrier lasts for 1 minute or until you lose the temporary hit points. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Ashen Phoenix

At 14th level, you fully embody the power of the phoenix, wielding fire with divine mastery. As an action, you can wreathe yourself in an aura of blazing flame for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:

  • Flight: You gain a flying speed of 60 feet.
  • Blazing Presence: When a creature hits you with a melee attack, it takes fire damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
  • Phoenix Rebirth: When you drop to 0 hit points while this feature is active, you can choose to explode in a burst of flames. All creatures within 20 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to your spell save DC), taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. After this explosion, you return to 1 hit point and can continue fighting.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
