Base Class: Paladin
Heavily Inspired by BasedBinkie's Patience Fundamental
The Oath of Patience requires a paladin to appreciate and embrace the passage of time and all that comes with it. Paladins who swear this oath are not granted any particular powers by swearing it besides a blessing of longevity, granting an opportunity to hone skills and abilities for significantly more time than any ordinary person could. A paladin who receives this blessing can easily have their lifespan made dozens of times longer than normal, so long as they don't fall to disease or in combat.
The people who swear the Oath of Patience are usually not special or talented. A person born with inherent talent who tries to swear this oath will likely be refused. Paladins who swear this oath are not predisposed to being good or evil, as morality isn't included in the Oath of Patience. All it asks is that the paladin take their time with all things, and to know well why they should.
Tenets of Patience:
Versatility. A man who is a master of patience is a master of everything. Like a fine wine, your potential will only become more flexible and robust the longer you are willing to wait.
Ineptitude. A man who is born without talent is the most talented of all. Those who are granted power so easily are prone to corruption and dissatisfaction. Those who must work for everything they have will never take what they have for granted, or fall victim to degradation.
Deliberation. A man who takes time to ruminate will always choose the correct path. A perfect plan will always lead you to success, you simply must take the time to carefully consider your options. When you are willing to prepare for anything, you will be ready for everything.
Nature. A man who knows nature knows that time is kind to those who relent to it. Knowing trees, you can understand the meaning of patience. Knowing grass, you can appreciate true persistence. Knowing cycles, you can see that fighting against them is pointless.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Bide Your Time. As an action, you can hold yourself still for an amount of turns equal to 1 + your charisma modifier (minimum of 1). You will be unable to willingly move, use actions, or use bonus actions. During this time, you are carefully inspecting the creatures around you, searching for any particular weak points. You can choose to end the effect after any number of the turns have elapsed at the cost of an action, dealing 1d10 times the amount of turns elapsed plus your charisma modifier Radiant damage to a single creature of your choice within 15 feet. If a creature leaves or enters your attack range while the effect is active, you can use your reaction to deal 1d8 times the amount of turns elapsed so far plus your charisma modifier Radiant damage to them. If you use your reaction in this way, then the effect will end. Because of your careful deliberation, you do not need to roll to attack for either instance listed previously. Starting at level 8, use a d10 for reaction attacks and use a d12 for completed effect attacks.
Rebuke the Hasty. As an action, you can rebuke those who act in haste during a battle. Immediately after an attacker within 30 feet of you uses a second attack within a single turn against a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Paladin spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker will take Radiant damage equal to half of all damage that they inflicted in their turn, rounding up. On a successful throw, the attacker will take Radiant damage equal to one fourth of all the damage that they inflicted in their turn, rounding up.

Aura of Patience
Starting at 7th level, while you are conscious, enemies who start their turn within 10 feet of you must make a wisdom save against your Paladin spell save DC. If they fail, they will find themselves walking much slower than normal, cutting their walking speed in half. This effect lasts until the beginning of their next turn, and will not trigger on an enemy who is behind full cover.
Additionally, while you are conscious, you and all allies within 10 feet of you will be affected to take much more time when actively examining your surroundings or the demeanor of other creatures, gaining a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier on Investigation and Insight checks.
When you reach 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
True Persistence
At 15th level, you now perfectly know and understand grass, and as such have learned true persistence. Once per long rest, as an action, you can envelop yourself in an aura of natural protection, causing enemies that attack you to make a dexterity save against your Paladin spell save DC. If they fail, they will be covered in roots that emerge from the ground, making them restrained and unable to make attacks of opportunity until the end of their next turn. This aura lasts for one minute.
Additionally, a harmless grass will grow around you while standing on any soil unless you wish it not to.
The Meaning of Patience
At 20th level, you now perfectly know and understand trees, and as such you have truly learned the meaning of patience. Once per long rest, as an action, you can channel pure natural energy into your body, causing your skin to transform into a thick bark, and for branches with yellow glowing leaves to grow from every exposed part of your body.
You become immune to all conditions, and cannot be charmed, frightened, paralyzed, or moved against your will.
Additionally, you become resistant to all non-magical damage types. If you were already resistant, you become immune. This transformation lasts for one minute.
