Base Class: Fighter
The Velei'Vit, better known as the Phase Warriors, are members of an ancient monastic order originating in the Magi Kingdoms, known for their commitment to their ideals of honor, justice, and compassion. They receive their popular name because of their particular combat style, which seeks to complement their martial skills with teleportation techniques that seek to emulate the capabilities and strategies employed by the dreaded Phase Spiders.
Level 3: Ethereal Step
As a Bonus Action, you briefly step into the Ethereal Plane and teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You regain one expended use when you finish a Short Rest, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 3: Venomous Hit
You have learned to magically replicate effects of a Phase Spider’s venom. When you reduce a creature to 0 Hit Points with a Weapon Attack or Unarmed Strike, you can use this feature to Stabilizing it. Also, the creature has the Poisoned condition for 1 hour. While Poisoned, the target also has the Paralyzed condition. You can use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 7: Spider Movement
You gain the ability to move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You also gain a Climb Speed equal to your Speed.
Level 10: Phase Renewal
When you roll Initiative, you can regain all expended uses of the Ethereal Step feature. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Level 15: Veilbreaker
After you use your Ethereal Step feature, you have Advantage on the next attack roll you make before the end of your current turn.
Level 18: Ethereal Jaunt
Your connection to the Ethereal Plane is so strong that you can freely shift between it and the Material Plane. You can see up to 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane while on the Material Plane, and vice versa.
At the end of your turn, you can choose to vanish from your current plane and appear on the Ethereal Plane (or on the Material Plane, if you are already on the Ethereal Plane). While on one plane, you can affect and be affected only by creatures on that plane. Creatures on the other plane can’t perceive you unless they have a special ability that allows them to do so.
You return to your original plane at the start of your next turn, appearing in an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet of where you vanished. If no unoccupied space is available within that range, you appear in the nearest one.
Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a use of your Ethereal Step feature (no action required) to activate it.
