Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Dhurkisian wizards are those whom approach the arcane based upon the methods and teachings of Dhark, who first led humanity into their understanding of magic, whether it be through study in his academic institutions or through individual application and practice of his teachings and techniques. As he thought, exercising the arcane arts is merely the practice of warping or pinching reality to generate one's desired effects, however the dhurkisian method of casting, unlike other wizardy, does not simply bend reality, but creates temporary sub-planes therein. In this way, dhurkisian magic is dramatically more potent than regular wizardry, should one understand it's methods fully.

Sub-Plane Fabrication

As part of the dhurkisian method, you have gained the ability to create sub-planes of reality when casting, increasing the effectiveness of your chosen spells. Beginning at 2nd level when you choose this subclass, once per long rest, when you cast a spell, you may cast that spell as if it were upcast by one level. You may only use this feature on spells of 4th level or lower (excluding cantrips), and regain any expended uses after finishing a long rest.

Beginning at 7th level, you can use this feature twice per long rest, and beginning at 13th level, you can use it three times per long rest.

Concentrated Castings

Beginning at 6th level, your practice with reality fabrications has become a reliable talent you can exercise to make your magic go further. When you cast a spell, you can choose to either increase any damage any deals by 2d6 or increase its range by 15 feet (including spells with a range of touch). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, and regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Beginning at 10th level, the damage of this feature increases to 3d6 and the range bonus you get to your spells increases to 30 feet.

Interposed Distortion

Beginning at 10th level, you have refined both your reflexes and knowledge of reality altering magic enough to allow you to impede the offense of your foes in the blink of an eye. When a creature you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to magically reduce the range of the attack by up to 100 feet. If this causes the target of the attack to be outside it's new range, the attack is wasted regardless of the attack roll.

You may use this feature once per long rest, and regain use of it after finishing a long rest.

Imposed Reality

Beginning at 14th level, your mastery over the dhurkisian methods allow you to exert strain on the realities bearing down on a creature when you cast a spell. When you force a creature to make a saving throw against a spell, you can impose disadvantage on it's initial saving throw. If the spell would effect more then one creature (such as with a large area spell, like Fireball), you can choose to impose disadvantage on any other creatures of your choosing that would be affected as well, suffering one level of exhaustion for each creature after the first that you impose disadvantage upon in this way.

You may use this feature once per long rest and regain use of it after finishing a long rest.
