College of Truth

Many bards use their charisma and guile to exaggerate and even manipulate. Bards of Whispers and Eloquence especially use their abilities to change the hearts and minds of those they encounter. Bards of the College of Truth, however, use their abilities to seek out lies and remove them, aiming to re-balance the world by uncovering truths.

Insightful

When you join the College of Truth at 3rd level, you gain proficiency and expertise with the Insight skill.

Dispel Lies

Also at 3rd level, you learn to magically repel lies. You learn the Zone of Truth spell, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you know. You can cast it without expending a spell slot, and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.

Restore Balance

Starting at 6th level, when a creature within 30 feet of you makes an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw with disadvantage, you can use your reaction to allow that creature to make the roll normally. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

Seeker of Truth

At 14th level, your ability to seek the truth becomes unrivaled. You gain truesight out to a range of 30 feet. Additionally, when you cast Zone of Truth, it doesn't require concentration.
