You stumbled across something you shouldn't have, a twisting, writhing mass of occult knowledge. Knowledge which began to corrupt you, turn you, and control you. Now it's pages brand your arms and your sight paid the price. However with this dark knowledge comes power, forbidden power now unlocked.

Eyes of the Occursed

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your eyes resemble swirling voids of smokey dark green and black and your arms appear covered in wrappings which look like they are formed from the torn pages of an occult tome with strange swirling symbols and entangling scribles. You gain 60ft. of darkvision. You can also spend 2 ki points to drag an enemy within 30ft. of you 10ft. in any direction, as long as they do not move further away from you if they fail a strength saving throw, as an action.

At 6th level you can use the wrappings to attack an enemy within 30ft. As an action you can spend 3 ki points to make a ranged attack role of which you are proficient dealing 1d6 slashing damage on a successful hit. This damage increases to 2d6 at 11th level and 3d6 at 17th.

Forbidden Rites

At 6th level, your dark and forbidden knowledge contains an understanding of mystic rites forbidden to the sane and sensical. You can choose two rites from the list of forbidden rites, you gain another two at level 11, and one more again at level 17. It costs 1 ki point to activate a rite (action), and all rites last for 1 minute or until you choose to end it (bonus action) and you can only have one rite active at any time.

 

Rite of Blood

If you deal slashing damage to a creature, deal an additional 2d8 necrotic damage, and heal half as much. (Level 11)

Rite of Eyes

You gain 120ft. of blindsight and 30ft. of truevision. (Level 17)

Rite of Far Whispers

You can use your action to point at a creature, the creature makes a wisdom saving throw. On a failed save the creature becomes paralyzed until your next turn. (Level 17)

Rite of Kinneticism

You can concentrate on moving up to 10ft. cube of matter you can see 10ft. every round as an action. Small objects which can be held in your hand move 60ft. every round. (Level 6)

Rite of Maddening

Every time you make an unarmed strike you deal an additional 1d4 necrotic damage, you may also spend a ki point to cause the attacked creature to make a wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you. On each of it's turns the creature may make the saving throw again, ending the affect on a success. The affect also ends when the right does. (Level 6)

Rite of Mindkeeping

You gain resistance to psychic damage, as well as immunity to the charmed and frightened conditions. (Level 6)

Rite of Silence

You make no noise, have advantage on stealth checks, and gain 60ft. of telepathy. (Level 11)

Rite of Time-keeping

Opportnity and surprise attacks against you are made with disadvantage. You can spend 2 ki points to cast the slow spell. (Level 6)

Rite of Traveling

You can spend a ki point to cast the misty step spell at will. And you can use your action to teleport 15ft. into an unoccupied space. (Level 6)

Rite of Understanding

You gain advantage on investigation checks and are able to read all writing. (Level 6)

Writhing Madness

By 11th level, you have learned to masterfully control the wrappings that shape around your arms. Your unarmed strikes now deal slashing damage rather than bludgeoning. You may spend 2 ki points to cause the wrappings to writhe around you violently as a bonus action, for 1 minute any enemy that walks within 5ft. of you takes 1d4 slashing damage at the start of their turn.

Far Mind

At 17th level, your mind has been altered by your occult knowledge. You can sense the location of any creature within 120ft. of you unless they are immune to the charmed condition. You also have 30ft. of telepathy.
