Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids of this circle have studied trees religiously and have
found a way to emulate their power to finally make their bark
stronger than their bite.

Tree Biology

You have thin layers of bark across various parts of your
skin, choose one of the following tree types: Birch, Oak or
Spruce. You gain a feature based on your choice, and your
choice augments later abilities.
Birch. Your movement speed does not trigger attacks of
opportunity, and it is increased by 10-feet. This bonus
increases to 20-feet at 10th level and 30-feet at 18th level in
this class.
Oak. You gain a +1 bonus to your AC provided you are not
wearing medium or heavy armor. This bonus increases to +2
at 10th level and +3 at 18th level in this class.
Spruce. You gain a +2 bonus to all saving throws you
make. This bonus increases to +4 at 10th level and +6 at 18th
level in this class.
These benefits apply to both your normal form and your
wild shapes. If you suffer fire damage, you lose your ability
from this feature until the end of your next turn.

Birch

Your movement speed does not trigger attacks of
opportunity, and it is increased by 10-feet. This bonus
increases to 20-feet at 10th level and 30-feet at 18th level in
this class.

Oak

You gain a +1 bonus to your AC provided you are not
wearing medium or heavy armor. This bonus increases to +2
at 10th level and +3 at 18th level in this class.

Spruce

You gain a +2 bonus to all saving throws you
make. This bonus increases to +4 at 10th level and +6 at 18th
level in this class.

Sap Magic

Whenever a creature within 30-feet of you casts a spell by
expending a spell slot, you may use your reaction to charge
yourself with sap magic. The next time before the end of your
next turn that you hit with a weapon or spell attack, you deal
additional acid damage equal to a number of d4's equal to the
spell slots level. You also regain hit points equal to the acid
damage dealt.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your
Wisdom modifier (Minimum of 1) You regain all expended
uses upon completing a long rest.

Sapling Toss

As a bonus action, you may throw a sapling at a target
within 60-feet of you, making a ranged spell attack roll. On a
hit, the target suffers 1d8 plus your wisdom modifier in
bludgeoning damage, and suffers a bonus effect depending
on your tree type.
Birch. The targets movement speed is halved until the end
of your next turn.
Oak. At the start of the targets next turn, they suffer half of
the damage they initially took again.
Spruce. All creatures within 5-feet of the struck target
suffer bludgeoning damage equal to half the amount the
target suffered.
If Sap Magic is empowering this attack, its damage die are
d6's instead of d4's.

Bramble Smash

While you are empowered by Sap Magic, you may use your
action to smash the ground with the might of the trees. All
creatures within a 15-foot cone must succeed on a Dexterity
saving throw, suffering a number of d12's in bludgeoning
damage equal to the level of spell slot you were empowered
with by Sap Magic.
Additionally, all creatures who failed the saving throw are
pushed a number of feet away from you equal to 5 times the
spell slots level. On a successful saving throw, a creature
suffers half as much damage and is not pushed.
Using this feature ends your Sap Magic empowerment.

Superior Magic

Your Sap Magic bonus damage increases to d6's instead of
d4's. When Sapling Toss is empowered with Sap Magic, this
bonus damage is instead d8's.
