Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have bound yourself to an otherworldly being. Perhaps you made a deal to gain more power to possibly quench your thirst; or maybe you were even trained by such an entity and became able to harness a similar power. Maybe when you were young, your developing body was exposed to such power which you now wield. Regardless of the cause, you've gained abilities derived from a being not of this plane.

Level 3: Otherworldly Being

Your power is derived from an Undead, a powerful monster who's magic has taken root within you. Death wields itself at your fingertips.

Level 3: Inhuman Wisdom

Your teachings and connection to your respective patron gives you access to knowledge and awareness otherwise unknown or unused. You can spend 1 focus point, giving you a bonus to Intelligence (Religion) and Intelligence (Arcana) checks equal to your wisdom modifier for 10 minutes upon activation.

Inhuman Wisdom - Disabled

The benefits of Inhuman Wisdom are inactive on your character sheet.

Inhuman Wisdom - Enabled

Level 3: Manifest Power

A fragment of magical power lays within you which you can invoke at your leisure. You gain access to the Spare the Dying cantrip, which uses your wisdom modifier and does not require any somatic or material components.

Level 6: Extra-Planar Form

As you delve deeper into your connection with your benefactor, you’ve found ways to access power similar to theirs, morphing your body as appropriate. When you activate Inhuman Wisdom, you can expend 1 additional focus point to invoke a transformation. This transformation grants you the following benefits:

- You have resistance to Necrotic damage. If you already have this resistance, you gain immunity instead.

- You can cause an exoskeleton made out of bone to encase your body, its appearance being dependent on your exact patron. While this exoskeleton covers your body, you gain a bonus to your armor class equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down).

- When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, or a creature is reduced to 0 hit points within 15 ft of you, you gain temporary hit points equal to one roll of your martial arts die + your wisdom modifier + your monk level.

Level 11: Inhuman Combat

Your teachings and connection to your otherworldly being have ripened even more: Allowing you to apply that newfound knowledge to combat. While Inhuman Wisdom is active, you are able to add your wisdom modifier to your attack and damage rolls.

Inhuman Combat - Enabled

The benefits of Inhuman Combat are active on your character sheet (for attack rolls. Damage rolls have to be done manually, blame WotC).

Level 11: Extra-Planar Enhancement

You’ve become more adept with your abilities, enhancing your Extra-Planar Form. While transformed, if you kill a medium or smaller creature and their corpse is intact, you can cause the creature to be raised as a zombie or skeleton (your choice). This lasts until the creature is defeated, or your transformation ends, upon which the creature simply collapses back into a corpse. You can issue commands to a creature (no action required), however they must be simple (example: “Attack that enemy”, “Guard this area”). You can have an amount of creatures raised at a time equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down). If you attempt to raise another creature after hitting the limit, the earliest zombie or skeleton you raised is collapsed back into a corpse. In combat, the raised corpse rolls its own initiative and has its own turns.

Extra-Planar Enhancement - Enabled

The benefits of Extra-Planar Enhancement are listed on your character sheet.

Level 17: Eldritch Master

You have honed the abilities granted via your connection to your otherworldly being to a masterful level, granting abilities provided by your Extra-planar Form the following benefits:

- The range for gaining temporary hit points when a creature is reduced to 0 hit points is increased to be within 30 ft of you.

- Corpses raised as zombies or skeletons under your command are granted a bonus to d20 tests and damage rolls equal to your wisdom modifier

- When you gain temporary hit points from a creature being reduced to 0 hit points within 30 ft of you, all raised corpses under your command are granted the same number of temporary hit points.
