Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Eternal Arbiter is a warlock patron that embodies the cosmic principle of judgment. Whether a divine magistrate, a sentient law of reality, or a forgotten aspect of universal order, this patron grants power to those who uphold truth, enforce contracts, and punish deception. Warlocks of the Arbiter are chosen not for their ambition, but for their unwavering commitment to consequence. They are the voice of law in lawless places, the blade that falls when promises are broken.

đŸ—Ąïž Pact of the Blade: Gavel of Enforcement
Your pact weapon resembles a spectral gavel, radiant maul, or executioner’s blade. You deliver judgment with every strike.
📜 Pact of the Tome: Codex of Truth
Your Book of Shadows becomes a Codex of Binding Truths, inscribed with laws older than gods. Its pages shimmer with divine ink.
đŸș Pact of the Chain: Writbound Familiar
Your familiar is forged from celestial law — a quill serpent, bailiff golem, or spectral owl that glows when lies are spoken.
🔗 Pact of the Talisman: Seal of the Arbiter
Your talisman is a divine seal etched with runes of judgment. It pulses when oaths are broken or truths are twisted.

Level 1: Seal of Judgment

You gain proficiency in Insight and one martial weapon of your choice.

You can mark a creature within 60 feet as Judged (no action required) when you finish a long rest or when you cast a warlock spell. The mark lasts 1 minute.

  • Once per turn, when you damage the Judged creature, you deal extra force damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • If the Judged creature breaks a promise, lies (DM’s discretion), or violates a stated condition, you regain a warlock spell slot.

You can mark a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest

Level 6: Binding Verdict

When a creature you can see within 60 feet makes a saving throw, you can use your reaction to impose Judgment:

  • The creature rolls that saving throw with disadvantage.
  • If it fails the saving throw, it becomes Restrained until the end of its next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Note: The saving throw is whatever type the creature was already making (e.g., Dexterity for Fireball, Wisdom for Hold Person). You’re not forcing a new save — you’re modifying an existing one. The Restrained effect is a consequence of failure, not a separate save.

Level 10: Unerring Arbiter

You gain truesight out to 30 feet and immunity to being charmed or deceived by illusions.
Additionally, when a creature within 30 feet attempts to lie to you (DM’s discretion), you can use your reaction to cast zone of truth centered on yourself without expending a spell slot.
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum once) per long rest.

Level 14: Final Sentence

You speak the Arbiter’s final decree. As an action, choose one creature within 60 feet that is Judged. It must make a Charisma saving throw against your warlock spell save DC.

  • On a failure, it is banished to a prison plane for 1 minute (no concentration).
  • On a success, it takes 8d8 force damage and is Stunned until the end of its next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
