Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

In every barbarian, there is a great and terrible fury which strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies. This fury, their Barbarian Rage, consumes their sensibilities in the heat of battle until the tide of blood and blades has ebbed from whence it came. Yet for some barbarians, it seems as though they are always twitching in anticipation for a fight, frothing at the mouth at the prospect of tearing their enemies asunder. Perhaps they took a warpick to the head in a fateful battle, changing their personality forever. Perhaps they suffer from indefinite madness, brought about by some deeply disturbing past. Perhaps a wizard cursed them with their dying breath, only for them to embrace the savagery it left them with. Or perhaps they literally just contracted a brain disease but can't die from it because they min-maxed their CON score.

Whatever the case, you are a twitching, bloodshot, rabid creature who will terrify your allies as much as your enemies.

Savagery

You can spend an Action to gorge upon the body of a creature which has dropped to 0 hit points. You then gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. If the creature you gorge upon is still alive, it automatically fails one of its death saves.

While raging, you can also add your proficiency bonus to the damage of your unarmed strikes and melee weapon attacks.

Psychotic Break

When you fail an Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw while your Rage is active, you can choose to automatically succeed instead. If you succeed in this way, you can use your Reaction to make a weapon attack against the source of the saving throw, but you are affected as if by the confusion spell until the end of your next turn.

Blood Starved

While your Rage is active, other creatures automatically provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter the reach of your melee attacks, requiring no reaction. Caution must be taken in order to avoid attacking your allies.

Berserk

You can choose to go berserk when you enter a Rage. If you do so, for the duration of your Rage you take two additional Attack actions each turn until your rage ends. However, you must attack a creature each turn, and you cannot voluntarily end your own rage. If no creature is near enough for you to move to and attack, you attack an object instead.
