Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian
The path you follow is one of brimstone and flame, if you do not already gain proficiency in smithing tools, and gain proficiency in another set of artisan’s tools. Rescind your past as a warrior of nature itself--you aligned yourself with the primordial soul fire.

For DMs:

Barbarians who follow this path are rejected by nature as they follow a more technical route. A Barbarian can achieve this subclass by either being taught by inheriting a piece of the soul forge or entering the primordial soul forge.

The primordial soul forge is created at the DM's discretion, but it is essentially a “patron” to all paths of the forge barbarians; it does not have desires and only lives to advance the age of steel.

Embers Spark Anger

When raging, your body heats up as if it were a forge itself— anything that you attack, or deals damage to you in melee range takes 1d4+STR Modifier Fire Damage. This feature grows to
1d6 + STR Modifier at Level 6
2d4 + STR Modifier at Level 10
2d6 + STR Modifier at Level 14

Soul Forgery

Any metal item (at the DMs discretion) can be melted down into slag, stored inside of your soul which the inside of is now
eternally on fire—which now acts as a bag of holding exclusively for metals.
The molten slag’s weight is equivalent to the weight of the item you melted, the total weight you can carry is 50x your barbarian level
molten slag “sprayed” for the purposes of doing damage.

Using a bonus action, you can change any weapon you are holding’s damage type to Piercing, Bludgeoning, or Slashing

alternatively, you can use a bonus action to instead coat yourself in a thick molten slag which adds 2 to your natural AC which does not stack, this does not count as armor.

You can do this equal to two times your proficiency level per long rest.

Will of the Weapon

Will of the Weapon
While you are raging, you force your will into your weapons. Any weapon you hold becomes magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities of nonmagical attacks

While you are not raging, your weapon gains a soul and speaks to you. When attacking an enemy, your weapon will reveal one of the enemy's resistances.
For Flavoring purposes, your DM can choose to give your weapon an attitude, and your weapon can resist attacking

Soul Refinery

While you are raging, you are resistant to fire damage. If you are already resistant, gain immunity instead.

If you are not raging, your Soul of a Forge feature is upgraded.
When you use your molten armor feature, you gain THP equal to your barbarian level.
Converting your weapon damage type also adds 1d4 fire damage; you cannot convert your damage type to the same damage type for the purposes of triggering this feature.
