Marethys, Mother of the Currents

Marethys, the Mother of the Currents, is an ancient water elemental who embodies the nurturing yet demanding spirit of flowing water. She appears as a tall, graceful woman whose hair streams like rivers and whose eyes reflect the fathomless depths of the sea. Marethys watches over those who live in harmony with water, offering protection, healing, and guidance to her warlocks, whom she considers her children. Her care is profound but firm: she encourages respect for nature, punishes disregard for the environment, and expects her followers to act with compassion and wisdom. Those who form a pact with her find themselves attuned to the ebb and flow of currents, capable of shaping water to shield, heal, or restrain, all under the quiet but powerful influence of her maternal presence.

• Prestidigitation (water-only effects): You can create minor water effects, such as ripples, mist, small splashes, or rain.

Water Affinity: You gain a +1 bonus to saving throws against effects that involve water or cold (e.g., spells, environmental hazards, or creature abilities).

Mystical visions: Marethys considers her warlocks her “children.” You may have dreams, whispers, or visions guiding you when you are near water or performing acts of healing or protection.
