Long ago the Dwarven gods chose only the strongest in mind and body as Battle Masters.

These Battle Masters were able to channel powers from the gods themselves in order to be victorious in battle. By honoring the gods these warriors were blessed with amazing abilities that began to shape them as the perfect weapon.

Improved Critical

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

Dwarven Empowerment

Beginning at 7th level as a bonus action you can choose to empower your mind and body with one of the below abilities gifted to you by the gods. Each ability can be used once per long rest and lasts a number of rounds equal to 5 times your constitution modifier or until you’re knocked unconscious/incapacitated. Only one ability can be used at a time.

Made of Stone (Moradin): You harden your body like stone and gain resistance to all slashing, piercing and bludgeoning damage.

Twin Axes (Clangeddin): You are so focused in battle that once per turn when you roll a critical or bring a enemy down to 0 hit points you can double the STR modifier on damage for your next attack.

Luck of the Maiden (Haela Brightaxe): You are blessed with luck by the maiden and receive 2 luck points. These luck points must be used before the battle is over if not they are lost.

Strength and Resolve

Starting at 10th level you borrow strength from your fortified dwarven body and add your constitution modifier to all attack and damage rolls. This lasts for 10 rounds or as soon as combat has seized at which point you suffer from 2 levels of exhaustion.

This ability can be used once per long rest.

Superior Crritical

Starting at 15th level, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.

Paragon of the Gods

You have mastered the art of battle and are now considered the perfect weapon in the eyes of the gods.

Starting at 18th level you are granted extended life and physically stop aging. Your life goal is in pursuit of praising the dwarven gods by finding an opponent that will finally send you to the afterlife and fight beside your gods.

In addition the following abilities become permanent.

The All Fathers Fortitude: Your constitution score permanently goes up by 1 and your entire body becomes as hard as stone and you gain resistance to all damage except psychic.

Silverbeard‘s Prowess: Your beard and the hair on your head  turn silver. As you cleave through your enemies and you land more than one attack consecutively as a free action you can take one additional melee attack with advantage.

The Luckmaiden’s Blessing: The Luckmaiden herself has decided to keep an eye on you and will decide to intervene as she sees fit. You are granted 4 luck points, in addition if a luck point is used to reroll an attack and that roll is a critical you do no expend the use of that luck point. These points do not stack with the feat or any other source that provides them.
