Level 3: Psychic Blades

When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to deal extra psychic damage equal to the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die. If that die has a bonus (from features or items), include that bonus in the damage. You can use this feature once per turn.

Level 3: Mantle of Whispers

When a humanoid dies within 30 feet of you, you can magically capture its shadow (no action required). You retain that shadow until you capture another one. As an action, you can whisper to the shadow and polymorph your appearance to match that humanoid for up to 1 hour. While in this form, you gain knowledge of general details about the creature’s life, habits, and memories—but not secrets unique to that individual.

Level 6: Words of Terror

When you speak with a humanoid alone for at least 1 minute, you can seed paranoia in the creature. At the end of the conversation, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Bard spell save DC or become frightened of a creature you choose. The effect lasts for 1 hour, or until the creature takes damage or another creature uses an action to shake it out of its fear (no save). Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Level 14: Shadow Lore

You cloak your words with fearsome suggestion. As an action, you can target one creature you can see within 30 feet that can hear you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Bard spell save DC or, for the next 8 hours, regard you as a trusted ally. While charmed, the creature is friendly and obedient—but if you or your allies attack it or its allies, the effect ends immediately (with no saving throw). Once you’ve used this feature, you can’t do so again until you complete a long rest.
