Base Class: Bard
The College of Bolstering specialises in using their Bardic Inspiration to buff and shield their allies in groups around them.
Improved Inspiration
When you select this College at 3rd level, your magical powers channel into your Bardic Inspiration, improving your capacity for it. You may now use your Bardic Inspiration ability a number of times equal to half your Proficiency Bonus (rounded down)+your Charisma Modifier.
Inspire Heroics
Beginning at 3rd level, with your improved prowess for inspiring allies, you may also create an aura of an inspiring presence around you to bolster allies with their crucial actions. As an action, you may expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration and commence a performance using a medium of your choice. This performance ends if you are incapacitated, you are silenced, you cannot move, you die, or your concentration ends (as if you were concentrating on a spell). Otherwise, it lasts for 1 minute, requiring no other actions to maintain it.
During this performance, you and any allies within 30 feet of you receive a +1 bonus to damage rolls and saving throws. Additionally, their movement speed is increased by 10 feet and may make any saving throws against conditions afflicting them at the start of their turn, rather than at the end if that is the case. At 6th level, the bonus to damage rolls and saving throws increases to +2, and at 14th level increases to +3.
Potent Inspiration
When you reach 6th level, your inspiration improves others' ability even before it is expended. When a creature who has one of your Bardic Inspiration dice, they have advantage on Charisma saving throws, cannot be slowed down by nonmagical difficult terrain, and when an effect would lower their hit point or ability score maximum, that reduction is halved.
Additionally, your Bardic Inspiration may now last for a total of 30 minutes.
Relentless Countercharm
Upon reaching 14th level, your Bardic abilities now are expressed passively even when you are already occupied. Your Countercharm ability now becomes passive, requiring no action to activate, and only ceases if you are incapacitated or die.
