Monster Hunter
Base Class: Monster Hunter

The Belmonts are a family of monster hunters, although they primarily combat vampires and the forces of hell. Entire generations of Belmonts have dedicated themselves to defeating the Dark Lord Dracula whenever he resurrects, although they are rarely alone in this endeavor. Most Belmonts will fight using their ancestral weapon the Vampire Killer, although some branch families, like the Morris family, tend to prefer other weapons due to their inability to safely handle the Vampire Killer. Another ancestral weapon, called the Alucard Spear, has often appeared in the possession of another branch family, the Lecarde family.

Whip Mastery

You become proficient with whips if you weren't already. When making a melee weapon attack with a whip you can add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll and your expertise bonus to the damage roll.

Radiant Blessing

You can temporarily bless a non magical weapon you can touch, turning it into a magical weapon and giving it an extra dice of Radiant damage. You can bless as many weapons with the feature as equal to your proficiency bonus. The blessing lasts until the next long rest, when you also regain all uses of this feature.

Starting at level 10, one weapon you have equipped will automatically have this effect applied to it without counting against your remaining charges.

Unparalleled Agility

Your existing movement speeds increase by 30 ft. If you do not possess a speed of a certain type (i.e. flying or climbing) it cannot benefit from this effect. Additionally, you become immune to the movement slowing effects of difficult terrain. At 18th level you become immune to difficult terrain entirely.

Any Advantage

When rolling against a creature type in your Monster Grimoire, for example as an attack roll, damage roll or saving throw, and you have advantage on that roll, you gain a third advantage dice for that roll.

This feature also applies to initiative rolls, but only if a creature type in your Monster Grimoire is the primary threat of the encounter.

Ancestral Spellcasting

Your magical lineage has awoken, granting you access to powerful spells despite all logic dictating otherwise. You can cast these spells once per day each, and the DM must check to make sure the material component is being used. Your Strength score is your spellcasting stat. Your spell save DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier.

Overwhelming Offence

If you attack a creature type in your Monster Grimoire with a damage type it is immune to it is instead treated as a resistance for that damage roll only. Likewise, if the creature resists that damage type, it will be treated as if they did not resist it. This effect will activate again for the damage roll of prolonged effects, such as Moonbeam.
