Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of the Anomalies is a new-gen Oath forged from the emergence of anomalies in the world. Paladins who swear this oath praise the anomalies in the world and wish to uncover the truth behind their creation. Make no mistake, those who swear this oath show no hesitation to dispatch anomalies who bring harm to this world. Above all else, the safety of humanity must be preserved.

Paladins who swear this oath are very curious in nature and are often scholars or researchers.

These paladins share the following tenets:

Seek the truth of this world.

Preserve all forms of life

Enjoy the pursuit of knowledge

Level 3: Oath of the Anomalies Spells

Your dedication to research has yielded great results; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of the Anomalies table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Resistant Research

As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to hone in on a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The creature chosen has Disadvantage on attack rolls against you for 1 minute or until you use this feature again.

If the creature is an anomaly, you gain a bonus effect: When the anomaly's hit points drop to 0, you have 1 minute to attempt to absorb the anomaly and gain a spell corresponding to its attribute. If the attempt fails, the corpse disintegrates, and absorption cannot be attempted again.

Attribute/spell and chance of succeeding will be up to the DM's discretion.

Level 7: Aura of Anticipation

Your thirst for knowledge fills you with adrenaline at the sight of something new. When rolling for initiative, you have Advantage when encountering a new creature or type of anomaly that you can see or sense.

Allies who are in your Aura of Protection while this is active gain 1D3 to their initiative rolls.

Level 15: Seasoned Scholar

The culmination of your research has granted you enlightenment. You gain an additional use of Channel Divinity.

Rolls to absorb anomalies gain Advantage; you also gain the ability to absorb non-anomaly creatures. (Chance to absorb, the creature's attribute,  and the spell acquired are still the DM's discretion).

Level 20: Omnipotence

As a Bonus Action, you can analyze any creature within 50 feet of you and copy any action that creature is able to take. You will use your Wisdom modifier for any attack copied with this ability. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending a Channel Divinity.
