Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Ghosts of the battlefield. Specters specialize in dispatching their enemies as shadows unseen. Few live to tell the tale.

Level 3: Eyes of the Wraith

Your eyes are trained to watch for the slightest movements, so that you may better read your targets. You gain Darkvision out to a range of 120 feet, in addition to proficiency and Expertise in Investigation and Perception if you don't already have it. Additionally, you gain proficiency with firearms.

Level 3: Specter's Gaze

Your uncanny eyes can hone in on your target's weak point. As a Bonus Action, make an Investigation check against a creature you can see, contested by the target's Deception check. If you succeed, your Sneak Attacks that hit the target strike their weak point, ignoring any damage Resistances and dealing additional damage of the weapon's type equal to your Rogue level. This benefit lasts for one minute.

Additionally, your Speed isn’t reduced to 0 by using Steady Aim.

Level 9: Phantom Presence

Your presence has diminished to the point where you are nearly impossible to perceive. You gain a +5 bonus to Stealth checks and leave no tracks. Additionally, when you are in Dim Light or Darkness, you have the Invisible condition as long as you aren't moving.

Level 13: Mortal Shell

You gain the following Cunning Strike Options:

  • Crippling Shot (Cost: 1d6). The target has Disadvantage on all saving throws until the start of your next turn.
  • Expose Weakness (Cost 2d6). The next attack against the target has Advantage and deals an additional 2d6 Force damage.
  • Sundering Strike (Cost: 1d6). The target has their AC reduced by 2 until the start of your next turn.

These Cunning Strike options can only be used when you deal damage with a Sneak Attack to a creature's weak point using your Specter's Gaze feature.

Level 17: Death's Shadow

When you deal the additional Sneak Attack damage to a creature using your Specter's Gaze feature, you mark the target as Condemned. The next time you deal damage to the creature with a Sneak Attack, the creature has Vulnerability to all of that attack's damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.
