Monk
Base Class: Monk

Warriors of The Symbol reach into the hearts of all they meet, able to inspire unshakable hope or invoke primal fear. These monks often have a dual, often seemingly contradictory, nature. They serve the light of good, but do not shy away from using the dark of evil to accomplish their goals in the name of the greater good.

Charismatic Savant

Your sheer presence makes itself known to all, and you will make that clear to all. Whenever you make a skill check that requires Charisma modifier, you can treat any roll of 9 or below as a 10.

Aura of Hope

Your willingness to act and be a Pariah to society makes others feel somewhat emboldened. Friendly creatures within 20 feet cannot become Frightened.

Monstrous Presence

Your ability to project your will around you strikes fear into your enemies. Whenever you kill or reduce an enemy's HP to 0, all hostile creatures that can see you must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Monk Save DC. On a failure they are frightened for 10 minutes

Vital Drain

You learn to Drain the very essence from your enemies, overpowering their souls with your own. When you make an unarmed melee attack against a creature, you may replace it with a Drain attack. On a successful hit, the creature takes 8d8 damage and you recover the same number of hit points. Alternatively, you may give an ally within 30ft half the number of Temporary Hit Points. You may use this feature twice per long rest.
