Base Class: Barbarian
Known as Kuldjargh (literally "axe idiot") in Dwarvish, battleragers are renowned for their fighting spirit and ability to use anything at their disposal to fight. Their expertise is spiked armor and often hurl themselves into the center of combat, striking with their body, weapons, and armor.
* Two Notes.
1.) This is my spin on a 2024 Battlerager Barbarian and is no way official. Most features were buffed to make them more in line with other subclasses.
2.) This version of the Subclass was designed for paper and pencil play and may not function with online play
Battlerager Armor
When you chose this path at 3rd level, you gain the ability to harness your spiked armor as a weapon
While you are raging and wearing spiked armor, you can use your bonus action to make a special melee attack with your armor spikes to a creature within 5 feet of you. If the attack hits it will deal a number of d4s equal to your rage bonus (For example, if your bonus is +2 it will do 2d4). The damage of the attack is piercing. You use your strength modifier for damage and attack rolls.
Additionally, when you use your attack action to grapple a creature you deal 1d6 piercing damage, if a creature is still grappled at the end of its turn it will take 1d4 piercing damage.
Reckless Abandon
Beginning at 6th Level, when you use your reckless attack while raging, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1) plus your rage bonus.
Battlerager Charge
Starting at 10th Level, when you move 10 or more feet in a turn you can use your bonus action armor attack to deal extra damage. If you hit the attack, you deal 2d10 damage on top of your armor attacks damage. The damage type of the charge is the same as your armor attack.
Spiked Retribution
Starting at 14th Level, when a creature hits you with a melee attack you can you use your reaction to make an armor attack, as long as you are raging and wearing spiked armor
Additionally, the damage of your armor attacks are now d6s instead of d4s
