Base Class: Rogue
Thugs are less concerned with finesse and subterfuge than other rogues, preferring a more straightforward approach of bullying and intimidation. Those thugs that seek legitimate employment may find work as a bodyguard or bouncer, while those operating outside the law spend their time as muggers or criminal enforcers.

Level 3: Brawler
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you are accustomed to a more direct style of combat. You gain proficiency with medium armor.
Additionally, if you successfully grapple or shove a creature with your action, you can make one melee attack targeting that creature as a bonus action.
Level 3: Fight Dirty
Also at 3rd level, you are practiced at punching down on the scared and helpless. You gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; you don't need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you are within 5 feet of it, the creature is grappled or frightened, and you do not have disadvantage on the attack.
Additionally, you can use your sneak attack with any melee weapon you are proficient with that lacks the heavy property.
You also gain an additional bonus action that you can use for any feature of this subclass that uses an action or bonus action.
Level 9: Bully
At 9th level, you are a master at sowing fear in the minds of others. As an action, you can attempt to bully one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you.
Make a Charisma (Intimidation) check contested by the creature's Wisdom (Insight) check. If you succeed, the creature is frightened of you until the end of your next turn or it is no longer within 30 feet of you.
Level 13: Superiority Complex
At 13th level, exhibiting your dominance over others feeds your ego. When you succeed on ability check contested by a hostile creature, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.
Level 17: Gang Up
At 17th level, your assaults make your targets more susceptible to violence from others. When you successfully use your Sneak Attack, any creatures within 5 feet of the target of your Sneak Attack can immediately use their reaction to make one melee weapon attack with advantage against the target of your Sneak Attack.
