Base Class: Barbarian
Some barbarians are not only hardened by rage but twisted by mutation and trauma. Those who walk the Path of the Split-Eye bear scars both physical and spiritual — an eye that sees the world as prey, a Bonebrand burned deep into their flesh, and the rattling memory of chains that once bound them
When they rage, their mutated vision sharpens to a predator’s focus, marking enemies for death. Their scars ignite with fury, spectral chains lash out, and their presence alone fills foes with terror. As their power grows, the Split-Eye sees beyond mortal sight, glimpsing death itself and dragging their enemies closer to it.
Split Vision Awakening
-
Predator’s Gaze (Passive feat). You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. While conscious, you cannot be surprised.
-
Predator’s Mark. When you enter a rage, you can mark one creature you can see within 30 feet. Until your rage ends, your melee weapon attacks against that creature deal +2 bonus damage. You may change the mark to a new target as a bonus action.
-
Rattling Terror. When you enter a rage, each creature of your choice within 10 feet that can see you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or have disadvantage on the first attack roll it makes against you before the start of your next turn.
Bonebrand Resurgence
Your Bonebrand burns when you Rage. Once per turn when you hit with a melee weapon attack, you deal +1d4 fire damage. As a bonus action, you can attempt to grapple a creature within 10 ft using spectral chains (escape DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Constitution modifier).
Deathseer’s Vision
Your Split Eye peers into life and death. Once per long rest while raging, you can declare a Deathmark before making a melee attack. If that attack hits, it is automatically treated as a critical hit.
You can sense the presence of corpses, dying creatures, and poisoned food or water within 30 ft, and have advantage on Survival checks to track wounded creatures.
Infernal Reclaimer
You fight with chain-bound fury. When using chain or tethered weapons, your reach increases by 5 ft. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use a bonus action to pull that creature up to 10 ft closer (Huge or smaller) — or reel it completely in if it’s within 30 ft.
