Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Fortune believe that luck is not a matter of chance, but of art. To them, fortune is a living rhythm,  a pulse that beats beneath every roll of the dice and every swing of the blade. With the right tune and timing, a bard can guide that rhythm, turning disaster into opportunity and coincidence into certainty.

These bards are masters of serendipity. Some are gamblers and wanderers who trust in the turn of the card; others are charismatic performers whose confidence seems to bend chance in their favor. They weave threads of probability into their music, teaching that fortune favors those who act boldly. Whether through a lucky flourish, a timely word, or a well-timed note, these bards prove that fortune isn’t blind.

Divine Luck

When you join the College of Fortune at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Insight.

You also learn one cantrip of your choice from the Cleric spell list. It counts as a bard cantrip for you, and Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.

Lucky Guidance

Your words carry the weight of luck itself. When you give a Bardic Inspiration die, roll a d20:

On a 10 or higher, the creature also gains advantage on the roll it applies your inspiration to.
On a 9 or lower, the Bardic Inspiration functions as normal, Lady Luck is just resting her eyes.

Spreading fortune

Your luck is infectious, and when fortune strikes the world around you reacts.

Whenever you or an ally within 30 feet rolls a natural 20 on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll a 1d4 on the Spreading Fortune Table.

Spreading Fortune Table

1 Serendipitous Recovery: The triggering creature receives temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus.
2 Fortunes Blessing: The triggering creature gains advantage on its next roll and you regain one Bardic Inspiration die.
3 Topsy-Turvy: For 1 minute, the next time a hostile creature within 30 feet rolls a natural 20, it counts as a natural 1 instead.
4 Lucky Bounce: The next time the triggering creature rolls a saving throw or ability check, it can add 1d6 to the result. This effect works once and lasts for 1 minute.

Serendipidous Inspiration

When you successfully inspire someone, the power of your fated luck can now spread to someone else. When a creature within 60 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to spread your fortune to a different creature (other than yourself) that can hear you within 60 feet of you, giving it a Bardic Inspiration die without expending any of your Bardic Inspiration uses.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
