Base Class: Monk
Taught by Metallic Dragons to some of their servants in order to help combat the evils of the world. You learn to manipulate Dragon Ki and imbue it into a chosen weapon eventually this Ki will enhance your body as well.
Dragon's Blade
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you to begin to learn the use of draconic abilities with your chosen weapon. You choose one breath from a metallic dragon you may choose more at higher levels. You gain the following benefits.
Dragon's Blade: Choose one piercing or slashing melee weapon to be your Dragon's Blade this can be any simple or martial weapon that lacks the heavy and special properties. You gain proficiency with this weapon if you don’t already have it. Weapons of the chosen type are monk weapons for you.
You also learn the Draconic language if you do not already know it.
Imbue Breath
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, choose one elemental breath type from acid, cold, fire, or lightning. When you reach 6th, 11th, and 17th level in this class, you choose another element breath type. As an action you may spend 1 ki point to add 1d4 damage from one of your selected elemental breath types to your Dragon's Blade attacks for 1 minute.
As a reaction if your weapon is imbued you may parry one elemental attack/effect of the active breath type to take half damage. To do so you must be aware of the attack/effect and be wielding your imbued Dragon's Blade.
At level 6 you may spend 2 ki points to upgrade elemental damage to 1d6, at level 11 you may spend 3 ki points to upgrade elemental damage to 1d8, and at level 17 you may spend 4 ki points to upgrade elemental damage to 1d10.
Dragon's Roar
When you reach 6th level in this class, for 2 Ki points you can roar, forcing each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). A target automatically succeeds on the save if it can’t hear or see you. On a failed save, a target becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. If the frightened target takes any damage, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Improve Imbue Breath
When you reach 6th level in this class, you may spend 2 ki points to upgrade elemental damage of Imbue Breath to 1d6.
In addition you may choose one more breath element from acid, cold, fire, or lightning, that you have not already chosen.
Dragon's Spirit
When you reach 11th level in this class, the dragon Ki you have been using augments your body and senses.
You gain Blindsight 30 ft as your sense sharpen and focus.
You gain 1 hit point per Monk level (retroactively) as your body toughens up.
Improve Imbue Breath
When you reach 11th level in this class, you may spend 3 ki points to upgrade elemental damage to 1d8.
In addition you may choose one more breath element from acid, cold, fire, or lightning, that you have not already chosen.
Dragon's Blade Eruption
When you reach 17th level in this class, the Elemental Breath you you Imbue into your Dragon's Blade becomes incredibly strong. When ever you make an Imbued Dragon's Blade attack you may choose to have a 10 ft. long line of your chosen breath element goes beyond your target. Creatures caught in this line must make a Dexterity Saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) for half damage (same damage as Imbue Breath).
Improve Imbue Breath
When you reach 17th level in this class, you may spend 4 ki points to upgrade elemental damage to 1d10.
In addition you may choose the final breath element from acid, cold, fire, or lightning, that you have not already chosen.
