Base Class: Bard
The roar of battle, the screams of the dying, the howl of the warrior's cry...these are all notes in the music composed by the war chanter. His music flows across the battlefield like a raging torrent, catching friends and foes alike in its wake.

Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of the War Chanter at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor, two-handed martial weapons, and Intimidate. If you already have proficiency with Intimidate, you gain Expertise with Intimidate.
Skaldic Rage
Starting at 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to enter a skaldic rage.
While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing heavy armor:
- You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength or spell attack using Charisma, you gain a +1 bonus to the damage roll. This damage increases by +1 when you reach
Bard 7th level(+2), Bard 11th level(+3), Bard 15th level(+4). - You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Your skaldic rage lasts 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action. When your skaldic rage ends, you suffer one level of exhaustion.
The benefits of Skaldic Rage do not stack with the Rage feature from the Barbarian.
