There are those who, rather than using instruments themselves, would rather guide the music around them.
For Magical Conductors, this extends beyond the traditional orchestra. They are able to manipulate the tact of anything around them, including magic.

Magical Conductors excel at manipulating magic around them, strengthening allies' spells or disrupting those of enemies. More powerful Conductors can even summon Spectral Instruments to manipulate the space around them, switching up positions of creatures and spells alike.

Level 3: Conductor's Baton

You gain the ability to craft a magical baton, which you can use as your spellcasting focus. You can only have one such baton, and crafting one takes at least 1 hour.

Additionally, you can use your reaction and spend one of your Bardic Inspiration dice in order to increase or decrease either the to attack roll or the spellcasting DC of a spell being cast within 60 ft. equal to the roll on your Bardic Inspiration die.

Level 6: Sturdy Ears

You gain Resistance to Thunder damage and your damage ignores others' Resistance to Thunder damage.

Level 6: Spectral Orchestra

As a Bonus Action, you can summon up to 3 hovering Spectral Instruments within 60 ft. that have a flying speed of 10 ft.

You you can cast spells or use class abilities as if you were standing in the instrument's square. You cannot see or hear through the instrument and still require line of sight for spells that need you to see a target.

You can have a maximum of 3 such Instruments at once. Dismissing one or more Spectral Instruments costs one Bonus Action.

Level 14: Orchestral Shuffle

When you cast a Spell or use a Class Ability through one of your Spectral Instruments, you can switch places with said instrument.
The switch happens before the Spell or Ability is uses, but still originates from the instrument's original space. (The space you would now be in.)

Alternatively, you can switch the positions of an ally within 60 ft. of you with one of the instruments.

Additionally, you can expend a Bardic Inspiration die to to make an enemy roll Charisma Saving Throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the enemy switches the positions with one Spectral Instrument within 60 ft.
