Base Class: Monk
Monks who have spent considerable time traveling with the Witchlight Carnival both within and outside of the Feywild may choose to follow the Way of the Witchlight. They learn the ability to harness the wild magic of the Fey through their Ki. After spending some time in the Feywild, they return to the Prime plane with a unique set of abilities that include an increase in either their wisdom, intelligence, or charisma, the ability to Misty Step, and the ability to cast one additional spell. However, their magic favors that of the Fey and can be chaotic, triggering unintended effects. After additional studying, their Ki becomes more aligned with the magic of the Feywild and they gain the ability to cast additional spells by using their Ki. As they near the end of their studies with the Witchlight Carnival, they gain the ability to shift between the planes from their experiences traveling between the realms often.
Level 3: Witchlight Touched
Way of the Witchlight monks have been exposed to the Feywild's magic during their training and learning and it has changed them. As a result, at level 3, these monks become Fey Touched and are granted the following:
* A one-point increase to their Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score, to a maximum of 20.
* The ability to cast Misty Step once per long rest.
*The ability to learn one 1st-level spell from the Divination or Enchantment school of magic. This spell can be cast once per long rest.
Level 6: Feywild Magic
Because Way of the Witchlight monks have spent a significant amount of time with the Witchlight Carnival and in the Feywild, their Ki takes on a form of wild magic. For every Ki point spent, they generate wild magic.
Level 11: Feywild Ki
As Way of the Witchlight monks continue learn and train, their Ki magic grows and they learn to cast Disguise Self, See Invisibility, Detect Magic, Dispel Magic, Counterspell, and Remove Curse using Ki.
Level 17: Witchlight Gate
Due to frequent travel between the planes to study with the Witchlight Carnival, monks who follow the Way of the Witchlight learn to cast Plane Shift. This grants them the ability to transport themselves and up to 8 others to the closest Fey Crossing to the Witchlight Carnival once per long rest.
