Base Class: Ranger
Embark on the epic journey starting as a Lv.3 Chud chef to a Lv.15 battle hardened, war torn chef able to cook *anything*. Playing this subclass will teach you the value of friendship and human life. You've become so incredibly good at cooking that you've transcended normal ingredients and feel compelled to move on to something greater... but do you have the strength to become the ultimate chef and truly cook *anything*? Or will you continue to live with repressed desires, knowing full and well what you're capable of and not living up to your potential as the R.B. Chef de Cuisine? Either way this is just a subclass so I can't really tell you what to do. Knock yourself out.
Level 3: Prep Cooking
The ranger who chooses to pursue the life of a cook must firstly be sure they know their way around... well, food. Starting when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain advantage on any skill checks involving the preparation, identification, or investigation of any foodstuff. You may also use your bonus action to consume or let another creature consume any food or drink(Including poultices). Also, you may apply double your proficiency bonus to checks using cooks tools.
At 3rd level, If you have the Poultices class feature, you can make and carry an amount equal to double your wisdom modifier, If not you gain the Poultices class feature. Your poultices are no longer just salves, but various meals or snacks you prepare daily for those with mouths to eat.
Level 3: Ingredient Hunt
You learned to cultivate ingredients and make do with what you have, on the battlefield its no different. When you gain this feature at 3rd level, once per round when you hit a creature with a melee attack you may choose to create a poultice. You may use this ability an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain all uses whenever you take a short rest.
Level 7: Appetite
You've mastered the art of creating short term meals, but for prime ingredients you must be able to hunt en masse. Starting at 7th level, once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack, you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon.
Level 11: Culinary Aid
You provide support to your allies in rather unusual ways. Starting at 11th level, when an ally kills an enemy you can see, you may use your reaction to allow them to regain HP equal to one use of your poultices.
Level 15: I Can Cook Anything
You've become a master chef, experienced in cooking beasts and men alike. When you gain this feature at 15th level, you may consume or feed an ally a Poultice as an interact action, also, Ingredient hunt no longer has limited uses.

Posted Oct 24, 2025I made this subclass at 2 A.M. and it's due for a rework as its healing ability is beyond broken.
