Base Class: Paladin
Oath of the Soul King paladins are guardians of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration between the Material plane and Afterlife. Having been called Balancers in ancient times, they purify tainted souls who do evil in the World of the Living and ensure the safe crossing of souls who have lost their way after death, by giving them a proper release from the living world.
Level 3: Oath of the Soul King Spells [Unfinished]

Level 3: Spiritual Pressure
As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to strike fear into your opponents. All creatures with an CR lower than your paladin level within a 15 foot sphere centered on you must succeed on a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, on a failure they are frightened of you for 12 seconds and can only move up to half their movement speed, on a success they are unaffected. Any creature with a CR lower than half of your paladin level automatically fail their save.
Level 7: Zanpakuto
At 7th level you gain the ability to form your Zanpakuto, a weapon able to cut only the spirit of creatures. You can take a bonus action to form your Zanpakuto, it takes the shape of any melee weapon that you wish and will take it’s mastery property, but this form cannot change after being chosen for the first time. Your Zanpakuto will deal 4 (1d8) slashing damage and 2 (1d4) force damage + your paladin spellcasting modifier. This damage however cannot leave any mortal wound and is treated as magical.
Cleave
Your Zanpakuto has the Cleave mastery property
The Cleave property allows you to use heavy weapons to hit multiple opponents with one massive swing. Whenever you hit a creature with a Melee Weapon Attack, you can make another Melee Attack Roll to hit a second creature you can see within 5ft of the first. On a hit, your second target takes damage equal to the weapon without any additional Ability Modifier damage (unless your modifier is negative). Ideal for crowd control situations, the cleave property is a go-to for those looking to carve through large swaths of enemies.
Graze
Your Zanpakuto has the Graze mastery property
Never let a missed attack go to waste again! The Graze property is triggered when your weapon misses an attack against a creature, dealing additional damage equal to the Ability Modifier used to make your Attack Roll. The damage of this attack will scale with your Ability Modifiers, meaning if your Ability Modifier increases, your damage increases as well.
Nick
Your Zanpakuto has the Nick mastery property
The Nick property allows you to make an additional attack as part of your attack action whenever you wield a light weapon in both your main and off-hand. This does not mean you can make a third attack as a bonus action. Instead, this property allows you to free up your bonus action for more tactical moves like spells or whatever else you might have up your sleeve.
Push
Your Zanpakuto has the Push mastery property
The Push property allows you to push a creature of large or smaller size up to 10 feet away in a straight line. Perfect for characters needing a little breathing room to pull off a ranged attack or disengage.
Sap
Your Zanpakuto has the Sap mastery property
With the Sap property, landing an attack on an enemy can inflict disadvantage on their next Attack Roll before the start of your next turn. It's an excellent pick for those who tend to go early in the turn order.
Slow
Your Zanpakuto has the Slow mastery property
The Slow property allows you to reduce a creature's Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn, so long as you deal damage to that creature with your weapon. Buy your ranged party members some time and keep your enemies at bay thanks to this highly tactical weapon property.
Topple
Your Zanpakuto has the Topple mastery property
With a successful weapon attack, the Topple property allows you to force a creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + proficiency bonus + ability modifier) or fall-prone. If the creature fails the save, they take the Prone condition. Perfect for setting yourself up for advantage against your target.
Vex
Your Zanpakuto has the Vex mastery property
With the Vex property, whenever you hit a target with a Vex weapon, you gain advantage on your next attack roll against that same target. Great for setting up your teammates or chaining attacks against a focused target. A necessary pick for characters who specialize in sneak or burst damage.
Enhanced Spirit
Your alignment with your Zanpakuto has grown to such a height that you can use more of your Spiritual energy with the weapon giving you the following effects.
