Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Way of the Thunderstrike centers on your ability to convert life energy, or Ki points, into energies like lightning, or technically heat if your DM lets you stretch it. your lightning is any color you choose when you select this subclass (most likely your favorite color). you can also use this to manipulate metals to some extent, forcing energy between the atoms. The monk who invented this subclass, Haru Tatsuo, used it to wipe out entire armies, create entire cities, and level mountains with pure energy.

  • Yellow: you may spend 1 Ki point to give any ally within 5ft of you an advantage on their next attack roll, provided they and you are both conscious.
  • Green: you may expend one Ki point to cast Faerie Fire.
  • Blue: you can recharge a uncommon or common magical item that uses charges. spend 1 Ki Point per charge you replace.

(projector) by using this feature again within the hour. weapons count toward the 25gp value, and any creatue holding a metal weapon or wearing metal armor you manipulate in this way take 3d6 + 4 lightning damage.

Thunderstrike

when you hit with a shocking strike, you may spend an additional 5d8 + wis modifier x2 lightning damage, ignoring immunities and resistances. if you use this technique more than twice before taking a long or short rest, you gain 1 level of exhaustion per additional use. your Electro-Magnetic feature now has a max of 100,000gp.
