Base Class: Monk
Monks who burn their own vitality as fuel — pain becomes power; their bodies harden like living metal.
Level 3: Veiled Strikes
When you hit with an unarmed strike, you may choose to lose 2 hit points to add +1d4 damage to that strike. (You can use this up to your proficiency bonus times between short or long rests.)
Level 3: Iron Shell
When you are hit by an attack, you can spend 1 ki as a reaction to reduce that damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Monk level. If doing so reduces the attack to 0 damage, your next attack before the end of your next turn deals +1d8 damage.
Level 6: Pain Transmutation
When damaged by a creature within 10 ft, spend 1 ki to deal WIS mod necrotic or force dmg to that creature.
Level 11: Iron Resurgence
First time you drop below 50% HP each long rest, regain 2 ki and +10 ft speed until end of next turn.
Level 17: Living Iron Spirit
Gain resistance to nonmagical B/P/S. Veiled Strikes now adds +1d6 instead of +1d4.
