Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Some sorcerers derive their magic from a lich or other powerful undead creature.

Necrosis Spells

Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Necrosis Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be a necromancy spell and can be from any spell list.

Ghastly Visage

Starting at 1st level, you can draw upon the necrotic energy flowing in your veins to ward off harm and terrify enemies. Once per Short Rest, you can give yourself a ghastly, unsettling visage. You use a Bonus Action to gain 4 temporary hit points for each level you have in this class. While you have these temporary hit points, you gain the following benefit:

When a hostile creature that can see you moves within 10 feet of you or starts it's turn there, it most succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be Frightened of you until the end of it's next turn.

Lingering Soul

Starting at 6th level, your soul cannot be removed from your body against your will. When you die, your soul lies dormant inside your vessel unless you choose to move on to an afterlife. While your soul remains in your body, your body does not decay and you can always be resurrected with the Revivify spell or similar magic regardless of how much time passes. Additionally, you cannot become undead against your will.

Death Mastery

At 6th level, your mastery over death magic has made you a quick killer. When you cast a spell using your Action, you may use your Bonus Action to immediately cast a Necromancy cantrip you know. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain all uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Scion of Undeath

At 14th level, your body and soul have become true sanctums of unholy magic. You gain resistance to Necrotic damage. Additionally, your creature type becomes Undead and you can effect enemies up to 30 feet away from you with the Frighten effect from your Ghastly Visage feature.

True Lichdom

At 18th level, you have completely transformed into something new. You no longer take damage from Necromancy spells or effects, and your Hit Point maximum cannot be lowered.

Additionally, when your Ghastly Visage feature is active, if a creature within 30 feet of you dies, you regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier plus half of your Sorcerer level. Additionally, when this feature triggers, you can use your reaction to regain 2 sorcery points. You can only regain sorcery points from this feature an amount of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain all uses upon completing a Long Rest.
