Base Class: Barbarian
You were born with latent magical powers. Their origin is unknown and have your life gone some other way, you could have become a powerful sorcerer, but, you took a weapon and learned to give in to your inner rage long before your magic manifested and as such, will never be able to fulfill that dream. That, however, does not mean that your magical prowess has completely been diminished. Sometimes you jump higher than usual, sometimes you run like the wind, and sometimes you manage to parry unparriable attacks. Skill, you say to yourself, unknowingly, fully engulfed in your paradigm, and yet, subconsciously you are able to manifest magic and channel it in ways that would make you think you are simply better than most.
Subconscious Sorcery
At level 3, when you choose this subclass, your latent magical powers awaken during times of your emotional instability. While you rage, once per turn, as an action, a bonus action or a reaction you may manifest an effect of a spell with a casting time of an action, a bonus action or a reaction corresponding to what type of action you have used to manifest it. For this effect to happen, however, the effect must be reasonably explainable by your character as something done by them that does not involve any magic. For example, manifesting an effect of a shield spell could involve your character assuming a defensive position and parrying the attacks with their axe with incredible skill. Your GM always decides wether a magical effect and its explanation are beleivable enough to manifest and may ask you to make an ability check of any type to do so. If you fail to manifest an effect of a spell, either through failure of an ability check imposed by your DM or your DM deeming your explanation of the effect being manifested being unbelievable you cannot manifest effects of spells until the end of your next turn and you waste an action used to attempt to manifest this effect. A total amount of times you can attempt to manifest an effect of a spell this way equals your proficiency bonus, recharging half the amount of times you can use this feature on a short rest and recharging fully on a long rest. A maximum level of a spell, effect of which you may attempt to manifest, equals your barbarian level, halved (rounded up) and after you have manifested effects of a spell once, you cannot manifest the effects of the same spell again until you finish a long rest.
If an effect of a spell you are manifesting requires an attack roll, you use your strength to determine the bonus to the attack roll and if it requires a saving throw, the DC for it equals 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Modifier and If the effects of a spell you manifest with the use of this feature deal damage or heal a creature, you can add your Rage Damage bonus to the damage or healing you do,
Paradoxical Prowess
At 6th level, your latent reality warping powers help you overcome various obstacles. but magical energies of the world resist your subconscious bending of reality in ways not intended. Whenever you fail an ability check, by taking 1 level of exhaustion, you may choose to succeed instead.
Misundertood Mastery
By 10th level your subconscious reality bending ability has become so innate for you, some of the effects you create may remain for a prolonged period of time. Whenever you manifest the effects of a spell that require concentration, the concentration is not immediately assumed to be broken, due to your rage being active. Instead, you make concentration checks as if you were holding concentration on the spells, effects of which you have materilaized. Additionally, the effects of the spell may end early if it fits narratively, as determined by the GM (For example, if you set your legs on fire to manifest the effects of Ashalon's Stride spell, even if you havent failed a concentration check, its effects may end early if your feet are submerged in liquid). Regardless, you can only have effects of one spell that requires concentration active at a time, and if you manifest effects of another spell that require concentration while previous one is still active, the previous one immediately ends. Additionally, if you have a magical bonus to your attack and damage rolls (e.g. from magical weaponry), you may add this magical bonus to attack rolls of spell effects created by your Subconscious Sorcery feature, as well as DCs of spell effects of your subconscious Sorcery feature to a maximum bonus of +3.
Warper's Wreckage
At level 14 your subconscious ability of realitywarping reaches its peak. Failing to manifest effects of the spell with the use of your Subconscious Sorcery feature either by your GM rejecting it or failure on an ability check imposed by them no longer wastes the action used to attempt manifesting effects of the spell. Additionally, you gain advantage on all saving throws against spells or magical effects and whenever you succeed on a saving throw or a magical effect imposed on you by a hostile creature, you can restore a charge of your Subconscious Sorcery feature.
