Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians of this path tends to warp around the map each turn of their rage. This path is inspired by the mythical Irish hero Cuchulainn and his "warp-spasm" battle ability. This was made by Sarigar on Discord.

Towering Warp Frenzy

Your warp frenzy reaches new heights of power and fury. While raging, if you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If there isn’t enough room for you to increase your size, your size doesn’t change.

While raging, you now manifest two Warped Gifts at a time. At the start of each of your turns while raging, you roll your Warped Gift as usual. Once it is determined, you can choose a second gift to be active until the start of your next turn.

Warped Gifts

When you enter your rage, and at the start of each of your turns while raging, roll a [roll]1d6[/roll] on the Warped Gifts table below to see which gift you manifest. This gift lasts until the start of your next turn, or until your rage ends.

1: Warped Reach. Your limbs stretch and contort. Your reach is increased by 5 feet. When you activate your Rage, or as a Bonus Action while your Rage is active, you can make one Unarmed Attack.

2: Blazing Body. Your rage surrounds you with a flaming halo. Fire radiates from you in a 10-foot Emanation. Whenever the Emanation enters a creature’s space, and whenever a creature enters the Emanation or ends its turn there, you can make the creature take a number of d4s of Fire or Radiant damage (your choice) equal to your Rage Damage bonus. A creature may only take this damage once per turn.

3: Furious Alacrity. Your warp frenzy greatly heightens your reaction speed. When you activate your Rage, or as a Bonus Action while your Rage is active, you may take the Dash or Disengage action. A creature provokes an Opportunity Attack from you if it enters or moves within your reach using its movement speed, in addition to the normal triggers.

4: Rending Strength. Your muscles swell enormously, giving great power to your strikes. Your Rage Damage bonus is doubled.

5: Unassailable. The power of the Warp Frenzy grants you great resistance to harm. You gain Resistance to all damage types except Force and Psychic. As a Reaction when you take damage, you can reduce the damage by a number of d6s equal to your Rage Damage bonus.

6: Controlled Chaos. You choose which gift to manifest.

Bolstering Presence

Your warp frenzy emboldens you and your allies. While your rage is active, you and allies within 20 feet of you gain a bonus to saving throws against the Charmed, Frightened, and Incapacitated conditions. The bonus is equal to your Rage Damage bonus.

If you fail a saving throw against being Charmed, Frightened, or Incapacitated while raging, you can use your Reaction to succeed instead. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.

Warped Empowerment

The power of your warp frenzy increases, making your Warped Gifts even more potent. You may choose three of the following improvements:

  •  Warped Reach. Your reach increases to 10 feet.
  • Blazing Body. The damage dice of your fiery halo increase from d4s to d6s.
  • Furious Alacrity. You gain an additional Reaction that can only be used to make Opportunity Attacks.
  • Rending Strength. Your Rage Damage bonus is tripled.
  • Unassailable. The die type of your Reaction increases from d6s to d8s.
