Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The gods are revered as all powerful, far reaching beings. Therefore, it only makes common sense that their reach extends beyond this world, to the outer reaches of space itself. As well as the world, moons, stars, and the void of space are also under the vigil of the gods.

Those who worship these deities, and show them devotion, are rewarded in turn. Some clerics gain the favour of gods who have a great love for space, and thus are granted a small amount of dominion in this area.

Clerics of the Star Domain understand the interconnectedness of all things, and the relationship things have between one another, a delicate balance held in place by the gods. The moon ushers in the tides, the stars keep the planets heated, and the void of space, separates the mortals from their gods.

Bonus Proficiency

You gain proficiency in the perception skill.

Starlight

At 1st level, you can flare with burning starlight when attacked by an enemy. When a creature within 5ft of you makes an attack on you, you can use your reaction to deal 1d6 radiant damage to the creature.

The radiant damage increases to 2d6 at level 5, 3d6 at level 10, and 4d6 at level 15.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per long rest.

Domain Spells

As a star domain cleric, you learn spells at the following levels per the list below. Spells learned from here do not count against the spells you prepare, and are always known.

1st level: Magic Missile, Jump

3rd level: Scorching Ray, Moonbeam

5th level: Fireball, Fly

7th level: Control Water, Fire Shield

9th level: Dream, Hallow

Channel Divinity: Shooting Stars

Starting at 2nd level, you can harness the power of starlight to buffet your foes with radiant energy.

As an action, you present your holy symbol and create 6 beams of light, which you can then direct towards your foes.

Each beam deals 1d8 plus your cleric level on a hit.

Lightspeed

Starting at level 8, you can coat yourself in starlight, boosting your speed and defense.

As a bonus action, you can add +2 AC and double your movement speed for turns equal to your wisdom modifier. The movement speed increase is calculated before any other benefits apply to your character.

Once this feature has been used, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Holy Quasar

At level 17, your starlight faces no resistance, maximising it's capabilities against your foes.

Once per turn, when using a class feature, spell, or attack that deals radiant damage, you can apply the maximum damage instead of rolling.

Additionally, a creature hit by radiant damage whilst using this feature becomes vulnerable to radiant damage until the end of your next turn, after which this effect cannot be applied to it anymore.

This feature can be used once per short rest. At level 20, this feature can be used twice per short rest.

Pulsing Light

At level 6, you can use the light of the stars to help illuminate your surroundings.

As an action, you can send out a pulse of light in a 60ft radius from you that lasts for a minute.
