Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

A fighter whose entire style is built around acceleration, impact physics, and split-second momentum control. Manipulates acceleration, trajectory, and impact vectors.

Every one of the abilities from this subclass only apply to melee weapons.

Level 3: Momentum

At the start of your turn, your Momentum is 0.
Every 10 ft you move increases your Momentum by 1 (max: your proficiency bonus × 3).

When you hit with a melee attack, add Momentum to the damage, then reset all Momentum.

Level 3: Fast Legs

You gain a +10 ft base movement speed and proficiency in athletics.

Level 7: Breakaway

As a bonus action, you can choose to perform a breakaway:

You Disengage as a bonus action. Your movement speed increases by +15 ft until the end of the turn.

You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

Velocity Mastery

You can use your velocity for additional things you can spend 3 velocity for an effect, choose 1:

- Gain advantage on next dex save or next ranged attack has disadvantage on you

- Gain advantage on the next attack

- Reduce next incoming damage by 1d10 + Dex mod.

 

Level 10: Slipstream

If you haved moved more than 30 ft this turn, gain the effects of disengage and +2 AC. Additionally when you roll initiative, immidiatly gain 2 momentum.

Level 15: Redline Execution

If you hit a creature after moving at least 40 ft this turn, you can force it to make a Dex save (DC = 8 + prof + Dex).

On failure: Takes 4d10 damage of your weapon’s type.

If under 25 HP, you can execute them, instantly killing the target and gaining temporary HP equal to your Fighter level.

Level 18: Max Velocity

Choose one max velocity passive

Ghost Runner

Enemies cannot take reactions against your movement.

Hypersonic start

When you roll initiative, for 1 turn, gain:

Double movement speed

Ignore difficult terrain

Gain momentum based off your dex mod

Vortex

Attacks do not cause you to lose momentum, at the end of your turn, deal 1d6 dmg for each momentum point you have, then, reset all momentum.
