Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Forgiveness is all about forgiving both others and yourself for their transgressions. It focuses on helping others but not necessarily at your own expense.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Forgiveness Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Read the Room. You can use your Channel Divinity to better understand others and convince them of your sincerity. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a bonus to Insight and Persuasion checks equal to twice your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) for the next 5 minutes.
Encourage Nonviolence. As an action you can use your Channel Divinity to give a creature the chance to cease their violence. Choose a creature within 30ft, for the next minute, at the start of each of their turns, they must a make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to your spell save DC. If you have not attacked this creature yet, they have disadvantage on the first saving throw. If they succeed, then nothing happens. If they fail, they gain hit points equal to your Proficiency bonus, they have disadvantage on all attack rolls, and any creature they force to make a saving throw has advantage on the save. This ability ceases if you harm the creature, or if they do not make an attack, cast a spell, or use an effect that harms another creature on their turn. You can also choose to end this effect whenever you'd like.
Aura of Cooperation
Beginning at 7th level, you emanate an aura that encourages you and your companions to help each complete your goals. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet may use a bonus action to add a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier to an ability check if you are within 5ft of an ally.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Passive Healing
Starting at 15th level, your max hit points cannot be reduced in any way. Also, you gain hit points equal to 2d4 + half your paladin level rounded down at the end of your turn if you did not harm another creature this turn or if you have healed an enemy this turn. You must not be unconscious for this ability to work. If you wish, you may instead grant these hit points to another creature within 10ft who has not harmed anyone this round.
Emissary of Forvigeness
At 20th level, you become an avatar of peace, which gives you two benefits:
- You have resistance to all damage dealt by creatures (their attacks, spells, and other effects) who harmed you between the start of your last turn and the start of your current turn.
- If a creature damages you for two or more consecutive turns, they take radiant damage equal to twice the damage you took from their last attack/spell/effect.
- If you are at 0 hit points or rolling death saves, a creature attempting to harm you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC in order to target you. If they fail they must change the target/area of their attack so that it does not harm you. If the creature has any positive feelings about you or has been healed by you in the past 24 hours, they have disadvantage on the save.
