Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Blood Hunters of The Order of the Phoenix are dedicated to the perseverance of life. Rather than bow to a deity and become a cleric, the Order of the Phoenix uses its blood magic to reduce their own life force, to increase another's.

Phoenix Rebirth

At level 3 you can harness the ability of rebirth from the phoenix. You have advantage on death saving throws when you are at 0 hit points.

Life Transfer

When you join this order at 3rd level, you learn the Life Transfer Action. Once during your turn, as an action, you may roll as many hemocraft die as you like, you take necrotic damage equal to the roll, and one creature you can see within 30 feet of you heals the same amount, if you would reduce your own hit points to 0, the target only heals the amount of hit points necessary to bring you to 0.

Life Drain

Upon reaching 7th level, you are able to extract the life force of those you slay in battle.

Once during your turn, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may roll your your hemocraft die, you, or any creature you can see within 30 feet heal that many hit points.

Blood Curse of Resilience

At 11th level, you hone your hemocraft to protect your allies from harm. You gain the Blood Curse of Resilience for your Blood Maledict feature. This doesn’t count against your number of blood curses known.

As a bonus action, you choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. That target creature gains one of your hemocraft die, which they can use when they take damage to reduce the damage by the number of the roll.

Amplify. The target creature gains 2 of your hemocraft die instead.

Sacrificial Revival

Starting at 15th level, you gain the ability to sacrifice yourself to save your comrades from the brink of death. When a creature you can see is reduced to 0 hit points by any means, you can use your reaction to erupt into flames and unleash the phoenix. You are reduced to 0 hit points, but the target is reduced to 1 hit point instead of 0.  When you regain consciousness after being reduced to zero by using this ability, you gain one point of exhaustion.

You can use this ability once every 7 days.

Awakening of the Pheonix

Upon reaching 18th level, you can sacrifice yourself for not only 1, but all of your allies, unleashing the full power of the phoenix. As an action on your turn, you may reduce yourself to 0 hit points. All the hit points reduced in this way can then be distributed as healing to any creatures you can see, in any way you like. You immediately gain 2 levels of exhaustion.

After using this ability, you must wait 30 days to use it again, or 10 days of constant rest.
